onward and sideways

This weekend is the youth con in Lincoln City, OR. I'm tired already, and it hasn't started yet. Then again - Con is magical and makes tiredness disappear...

I'm a bit disappointed, I had an offer for a movie date, but I'll be gone. I can't remember if I mentioned a Czech guy I've been chatting with - talking to him was like walking into a conversation that was already happening, we picked up like we'd always known each other. A good sign. Unfortunately, he works nearly opposite hours to me. We'll see what happens. We're both going on vacation about the same time - great, earliest time we could hang out would be in about a month.

There's a couple of other seemingly nice guys I'm chatting with, but nothing really exciting. Don't worry, I'm sure something spectacle-ar will happen sooner or later.

In the meantime, I bought a truly obscene amount of candy today - I don't even think the 150 teenagers I'm hanging with this weekend can go through all of it - and all the little pieces of Con are starting to fall into place. Whee! Tune back in for photos after the weekend.
