It's the little things...

Like being able to use deodorant under my right arm for the first time in 8 weeks. Apparently deodorant will (further) irritate the skin unless in doesn't have aluminum in it, in which case, it doesn't work. But my skin is healing and has stopped peeling and I'm using oil instead of Aquaphor and I'm tossing every little sample of that stuff I can find. Mind you, it works great, I just don't want it around anymore.

I did burn the certificate too, last Saturday, before heading out of town. Such a good idea. I burned it and said, "This is not my legacy." Then I sang another little verse:

"Dancing along in the madness
There is no sadness
Only a song of the soul."

My legacy is not that I had cancer. It might include my homemade ice-creams, though.

Cheers.
